Fairy Lights Nail Manicure Tutorial by Small Good Things

Fairy Lights Nail Manicure Tutorial by Small Good Things

My artistic talents are limited, but I seem to have a flair for fancy manicures. I’m always on the look out for fun new designs and this one by Small Good Things caught my eye right away. The alternating nail color is completely on trend, but what I really liked about it was the adorable “fairy lights” design. The draped dots are reminiscent of the kind of decorative lights one would find lighting up the night in a whimsical garden and I absolutely love that sweet touch. The dripping paint look of the darker color is also a fun look and when you put all three design aspects together you get a delightful and fun manicure.

The most difficult part of this manicure is making those drippy waves look both natural and neat at the same time. Practice definitely makes perfect. The rest is super easy, you just need to learn the toothpick is the manicurist’s new best friend and you’ll be good to go! Alas, my talent for putting on nail polish usually results in needing heavy doses of nail polish remover to remove the polish from my skin. I was never one who was able to draw within the lines!
