I have been on a fashion DIY roll lately and my latest find comes from Natalie at My Little Secrets. Nautical themed fashion has been all over the place lately, and I’m fan, but horizontal stripes are not my friend. Anchors, on the other hand, I can totally rock (and have often via jewelry) so this DIY Anchor Shirt peaked my interest right away. It is super stylish and super easy, which by now you have probably caught on is exactly what I look for in a great do it yourself project.
At first I was afraid this DIY involved sewing, (which I can do, but do not particularly enjoy), so I was very happy to find out this one is all glue and creativity and no thread and needles. If you follow the steps on My Little Secrets, it is an extremely easy project to accomplish and if you are straight line incompetent like me, you can always use a stencil to lay out your design before you get started.
I absolutely love Natalie’s anchor design and her choice of colors, but if nautical is not your cup of tea, you could follow her tutorial and use your own design to create a custom piece of sequin awesomeness. To find out how, check out the Full DIY over at My Little Secrets.
