So summer has been around for over a month already. Yes I know, time flies! With the seasons come all sorts of popular fashion trends that reflect the changing weather. I am sure you have flipped through the pages of numerous fashion magazines, all of which offer insight into which colors you should wear according to the weather outside. As a matter of fact, this is another small list of recommended makeup products that go hand in hand with the summer season. Fear not however, this list is relatively small, but will include some items that may end up becoming summer makeup staples in your collection!

At this point you’re probably wondering just which seasonal makeup color I am going to talk about. That or you may already have your suspicions. Alright, alright, I will stop dwelling. Coral is what you need to be wearing this summer! Below are a few coral-colored makeup products that are my summer staples and can very well be yours as well:

Benefit Coralista Blush

Benefit almost always lures me with their super chic vintage-inspired packaging. I must admit, sometimes I end up trying their products because the packaging is so darn cute! However, their Coralista blush is truly perfect for this summer season. As part of their boxed cheek powder line, Coralista offers a pink-toned coral color with slight shimmer that will really make your cheeks glow. If you’re looking for something to freshen up your look and make you ready for the beach, look no further. I must say, at $28 USD, this blush may seem pricey at first glance. However, rest assured that it will last you a very long time even if you use it daily.

Maybelline Color Whisper in Pinup Peach

Ah, Maybelline Color Whispers. I am in love with these lip colors! The texture is sleek and almost gel-like, almost unnoticeable on the lips! Not to mention they smell amazing and fruity; perfect for summer! With a large color selection of around 20 shades, it is nearly impossible to not find a shade perfect for you. Regarding coral shades, Pinup Peach is a light orangey coral that is subtle enough for day wear, but can also be amplified for a more dramatic night-time look, especially when paired with smoky eyes. At $7.49 USD, these lip gels are a relatively inexpensive way to brighten your look up and get you ready for summer.

Kat Von D Everlasting Blush in Bellisima

Kat Von D. What can I say, pretty much anything she puts out is enticing and always packs a punch. The quality of her makeup line is also outstanding, hence why it is considered a high-end makeup line. Von D’s Everlasting Blush in the shade Bellisima is a matte peachy pink coral that screams ‘summer cheek color.’ The pigmentation is amazing and it goes on super smoothly. Be forewarned however, since it is very pigmented, a little goes a very long way, but it is also very easily blended. With this blush, you can go subtle or dramatic. It’s totally your call! These blushes sell for $25 USD each. Pricey, yes. Coral summer staple, definitely!

Revlon Superlustrous Lipstick in Coralberry

This lipstick is definitely a must-have for your summer coral makeup collection! In the tube it may come off as slightly intimidating since it looks quite orange. However, once applied you will see how light and feminine it looks. Most skin tones can pull it off as it can be applied lightly or heavily for more impact.
These are just a few of the coral staples I’ve been loving this summer. Granted, there are so many more out there to explore, but hopefully these four products can help get you started on your coral makeup journey this summer.
