In the Gia Coppola’s film adaptation of James Franco’s Palo Alto, Emma Roberts stars as April, a spirited teenage girl who’s having trouble expressing a crush on classmate Teddy (Jack Kilmer). Meanwhile her much older soccer coach (James Franco) has no trouble expressing his interest in her. Attraction, teenage angst and an out of control party scene lead April into trouble in this carefully crafted look at the highs and lows of the teenage experience.
The Daily Quirk caught up with the lovely and talented Emma Roberts on the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Palo Alto to talk what it was like working with Gia Coppola and James Franco, as well as her favorite moment filming. Watch the exclusive interview below!
