While the characters of Bjorn and Lagertha are fan favorites on the History Channel’s Vikings, the actors who portray them, Alexander Ludwig and Katheryn Winnick, prove to be as equally entertaining in real life. The Daily Quirk had the good fortune to sit down with the two at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con and gained some major insight into their characters. It’s clear that playing such a dynamic mother and son duo has brought the two actors close together. Both had lots to say on the transformation of their characters and the influential power they’ll be gaining as the series progresses. When asked about the future of Lagertha and Ragnar, Winnick was quick to be coy. Check out the interview below for Ludwig and Winnick’s praise of the cast and crew, Michael Hirst’s outstanding ability as a writer, their pride in what the show has done for the History Channel as a whole and more!
