If I have said it once, I have said it a million times, I am huge fan of simple do-it-yourself projects that have big impact. Of course a project that requires specialized tools, fifty different supplies, and an art school degree to complete is going to result in something impressive, but I am personally more impressed by a beautiful do-it-yourself project that anyone can complete with simple tools and a little creativity.
