Exciting casting news has just been confirmed via Summit Entertainment’s twitter account! The book to movie adaptation of Veronica Roth’s Dystopian Young Adult Novel has just cast three of the film’s key players! In addition to Shailene Woodley who will be starring in the lead role of Tris Prior and Kate Winslet (whose role has yet to be confirmed, but is believed to be Erudite Leader, Jeanine Matthews) the film has chosen its Caleb Prior, Christina, and Tori!

Ansel Elgort has been cast as Tris’ brother, Caleb Prior, who chooses to leave his faction, just like his sister, by choosing to join the Erudite Faction (unlike his sister who joins the Dauntless). Elgort is a relative new comer, with a role in the upcoming Carrie remake starring Chloe Grace Moretz.

Zoe Kravitz has been cast as Christina, who becomes fast friends with Tris once she joins the Dauntless faction. You may recognize Kravitz from her recent role as Angel Salvadore in X-Men: First Class or her recurring spot as Pearl on Californication.

Maggie Q has been cast as Tori, a character who becomes critical to Tris uncovering she’s “divergent” and important to the overall plot. Maggie Q currently stars as the lead in the CW’s Nikita.
