Music is a huge part of my life.  I cannot go a day without listening to my iPod and  I’m sure I am not alone in this!  As much as I love the music I listen to, my ears are always eager for new songs to listen to.  Here is a list of albums I am looking forward to hearing in 2013 and your ears should be eager to hear as too…

20/20 Experience – Justin Timberlake

Release date: March 19, 2013

It has been seven years since Justin Timberlake released an album (can you believe it’s been that long?!?). The long break he took to focus on his acting career is finally over and the 20/20 Experience, his much awaited comeback, is about to hit the airwaves. His first single off the new album, Suit and Tie, features Jay Z and has been getting a lot of attention! I have been a fan of JT since he was a member of the boy band N’Sync and can’t wait to see what the new album is like.

Wild and Free – A Rocket to the Moon

Release date: March 26, 2013

It’s been four years since A Rocket to the Moon released an album.  Their new single, Ever Enough, is a lovey dovey ballad that has made me very excited to hear the rest of the songs off their upcoming Wild and Free album. I saw ARTTM in concert once and fell completely in love with their music. Fun fact – The video for Ever Enough features Debby Ryan, star of the Disney Channel’s Jesse, who just happens to be best friends with Nick Santino, the band’s lead singer.

Paramore – Paramore

Release date: April 9, 2013

It’s been four years since Paramore released an album and many were questioning the band’s future after two of the founding members, Josh and Zac Farro, left to pursue other musical careers. At the time, Haley Williams made it clear that Paramore wasn’t going anywhere and with a new album on the horizon it looks like she was right. Paramore’s new single, Now, is a dance around type of song and I’m curious to hear how the new band members affect the sound on the rest of the album’s tracks. I don’t like too many bands with a female singer, but Hayley Williams is too fantastic not to like!

Save Rock and Roll – Fall Out Boy

Release date: April 15, 2013

It’s been five years since Fall Out Boy released an album.  The members took a break to concentrate on side projects and to many it looked like Fall Out Boy was done for good. Now the band is back with a new single, My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark, a rock and roll hit.  Save Rock and Roll was originally supposed to be released in May, but the band decided to release it early due to their fervent fans begging for an early release  FOB has been one of my favorite bands since high school and I have seen them in concert four times. I can’t wait to see what the reunited band has in store!

TBA – Panic! At The Disco

Release date: Summer or Fall 2013

According to pictures on Instagram from Panic! At The Disco’s lead singer, Brendon Urie, the band has been in the studio working on their new album since November 2012.  I haven’t heard any news about a single or release date, but I’m hoping for a release sometime in the summer or fall.  P!ATD has been one of my favorite bands since high school and I have seen them in concert twice, so I would be very excited for a new album.

TBA – Demi Lovato

Release date: Spring 2013

Demi Lovato’s new single, Heart Attack is simply amazing. I was not always a Lovato fan, but when I heard Skyscraper for the first time, I cried. I love the new single and cannot wait to hear the rest of yet to be titled fourth album.
