We finally catch up with the younger two Stark children in this episode of Game of Thrones.  Bran is still with the wilding lady, the beastly man, and his wolves running toward the north.  They run until they are caught by a young man, Jojen Reed, and his sister, Mera, who were tasked with finding Bran.

Arya, the fat kid, and another young man are also traveling on their own from Harren Hall hoping to find Stark friendly folks in the north.  They are caught by a group of ne’er-do-wells who take them back to their camp and feed them.  Since the kids are of no value to these guys, they intend to let them go until “The Hound” is brought in by come cronies and he identified Arya as a “Stark bitch.”  Uh oh.

Well, now it is clear that Joffrey is a cowardice bastard and a sadist because death is what turns him on as found out by his future wife, Margaery.  He summoned her to his chamber before leaving for a hunt and her feigned interest in his crossbow got him all hot and bothered.  I guess he wasn’t thoroughly interested until they spoke of her killing someone with it.  Speaking of Margaery, she and her surly grandma takes an interest in Sansa as a source of information about Joffrey, which worked out perfectly as mentioned above.  Cersei sees Margaery as a threat and tries to spoil her appeal with Joffrey but so far it is not working but we all know “The King” never strays far from the teat.

Shae and Tyrion have a little interlude and spat in his chambers only reaffirming their affection for each other.  Not much develops other than Tyrion’s fear that Shae’s head will be taken off by his father.

Robb Stark moves on to gather more troops and eventually fight the Lannister’s but the real development is between Robb’s new wife and Catelyn Stark (mother).  She blames herself for all the ill that has befallen her family because she was unable to properly mother John Snow, a motherless child, after her husband brought him back from the wall.  She had made a promise to the Gods when John was a baby that she would take care of him but she did not fulfill her promise.  I remember from season one that she was a mega bitch to him – so yeah.  Not surprised.

Jon Snow and his new wilding crew are on the move but not much develops regarding their mission.  Speaking of Jon Snow – I saw some photos of Kit Harington online this week that were ridiculous hot.  Not gonna lie, he is my type – but this isn’t a hot guy post so I will not digress.

Brienne and Jaime are still on the road to King’s Landing keeping us all entertained as Jaime continues to push Brienne’s buttons.  He is a real bastard but she handles herself well, especially with a sword.  When Jaime attempts to escape by grabbing one of her swords and challenging her to a fight, it is truly no contest.  I love Brienne – she is kick ass.  Unfortunately, a group of Stark friendly soldiers happen upon them during this skirmish and they apprehend the pair.  End episode.  Watch GOT on HBO Sundays @ 9:00pm.
