How you doin’?

No matter how you’re actually doing, you’re probably smirking right now thinking about Joey Tribiani, right? And you’re probably just as bummed as we are that Martha Kauffman, co-creator of Friends told E! that there will not be a reunion show or movie. The great thing about DVDs though, is that our love for the show never really has to die. Pop in any disc of the series and you can be transported right back to the lovely ‘90s, when you may wonder, “Could Chandler be any more sarcastic?” or, “Really, what were they feeding Smelly Cat?”

Don’t have time for that? Go ahead and check out my list of the 5 best Friends episodes to hold you over until you do!

The One With The Embryos

Or as I like to think of it, The One With The Lightning Round! Sure, Phoebe gets implanted with her brother’s babies and the show brilliantly writes in Lisa Kudrow’s real-life pregnancy, but this is also the episode in which we find out that no one really knows what it is that Chandler does, but the TV Guide comes to Miss Chanandelor Bong!

The One With Phoebe’s Wedding

This one may not be on everyone’s list, but think back to the first couple of seasons for a second and consider whether you would have ever thought that Phoebe would have found a man quite like Mike for her? Or remember when Phoebe had to choose between David and Mike and she found out that Mike never wanted to get married!

Joey walks Phoebe down the aisle, solidifying that she’s closer to him than either of the other guys and Ross and Chandler are desperate to be able to be part of their friend’s huge day. How much more awesome do you need to get?

Oh, right! She makes Paul Rudd smile this goofy grin…

Wedding

The One With The Cop

Yeah, so Michael Rapaport is in this one as Phoebe’s brief love interest (he shot a bird guys, come on) but what we really remember and love about this episode is that Ross taught us all how to say one word.

The One Where Everybody Finds Out

Everyone Finds Out

Do I need to say more? Fine.

Monica and Chandler have finally figured out that they are perfect for each other. Something that I didn’t even see until it happened, and I’m a pretty decent matchmaker! They don’t want it ruined by everyone knowing, but in a circle of friends so small, it’s a little difficult to hide. Especially when your friends hang out in your brother’s apartment just across the street.

My Eyes

The Pilot

Have you ever rewatched the pilot after the last season? The characters are a little more exaggerated, but they are all the same people through the whole series. By the end, you can see that they have all grown because of each other, but those six people from the Pilot are still there. Always there for each other, even though no one told them life was going to be this way.

Friends Opening

Even with no Friends reunion, we can still keep reliving those awesome and kind of awkward moments of twenty-something life. Especially when we don’t know what to say to a pretty lady or cute guy in a bar, so we resort to the Tribiani. Please share your favorite episode in the comments!
