Worlds and genres collide in the dark comedy-drama, It Was You Charlie, an “unrequited love story meets thriller” written, directed and co-produced by Emmanuel Shirinian. The film follows Abner (Michael D. Cohen), once an accomplished sculptor, who suffers the emotional and psychological effects of a disastrous car crash. In the midst of guilt and suicidal thoughts, Abner finds comfort in the lively company of Zoe (Emma Fleury), a young, free-spirited taxi driver.

The Daily Quirk got the chance to talk with Writer/Director/Co-Producer Emmanuel Shirinian and Actress Emma Fleury to discuss the inspiration behind It Was You Charlie, premiering their film in the US and upcoming projects. Check out the exclusive interview below!
