I am officially a Cumberb*tch, part of the Cumberbatch tribe, Team Cumberbatch, a Sherlockian if you will. If you have no idea what any of that means, let me say it in simpler terms: BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH.
The past year has only grown my love of this awkwardly adorable man. I binge watched Sherlock (and have rewatched it too many times), I loved him in Stark Trek and 12 Years a Slave and every new story about him made my heart jump. He is the perfect kind of celebrity- he’s quirky, he’s funny, and he’s somehow handsome. And did I mention, he’s Sherlock?
I don’t understand my adoration for him, but I don’t even care.
It’s hard not to love this guy and I dare you not to try. It’s also hard to avoid this guy because he is EVERYWHERE. He had four movies come out last year, Sherlock returned this year and he’s got at least five movies in the works. Needless to say, he’s here to stay.
And if you don’t already have enough of him, now you can color him in too.
The mastermind, Mel Elliot, who had girls swooning and reaching for their crayons with Colour Me Good Ryan Gosling will be releasing Colour Me Good Benedict Cumberbatch March 21.
According to Elliot, the new coloring book “features 17 line drawings of Benedict in all manner of handsome and slightly awkward situations.” Yep, that sounds about right. Benedict is both handsome and awkward and now you can color him in to your heart’s delight. Count me in! My birthday is right around the corner and I’m not so secretly hoping that this makes its way to me in all its quirky awesomeness.
