Whether it’s exam time or just a stressful week, every girl needs a pamper day here and there. However, spa treatments tend to require lots of time and money, both of which I certainly don’t have tons of to spare. Although not all budget-friendly, these products are definitely spa-worthy and will cut your spending in half. Give yourself some well deserved “me” time!

In my opinion, no spa atmosphere is set without a relaxing candle. The Tiki Beach candle by Bath & Body Works is my all-time favorite. It smells like coconut, vanilla, and orchid, so it’s basically as good as being transported to your own private island, or at least as close as I’m going to get.

Next step? Bubble bath! Lush offers a fantastic selection of bath products, but a great option is their Dragon’s Egg Bath Bomb. This magical little ball dissolves in water, releasing different colors, a citrusy scent, and glitter. It really can’t get much better than having a colorful, glittery bath, can it?

I always like to use a body scrub when I have the time. It’s just about the only way to remove all that dry skin that won’t budge otherwise, leaving you silky smooth. Soap & Glory’s Flake Away Body Polish does just that while also managing to leave you smelling great. Use this a couple times a week and your skin will thank you.

One area that often gets neglected during a spa day is hair. A deep conditioner or oil treatment is great to repair damage, strengthen hair, and leave it feeling extra soft. Josie Maran’s Argan Oil does wonders on dull hair. Just massage it into the ends, leave in overnight and wash out in the morning.

My favorite at-home spa ritual is using a facemask. Although I’ve tried a number of them and have a few that I enjoy using, one of the best out there is the Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment for those of us with skin that doesn’t always cooperate when it needs to. Slather it on the areas that tend to get oily (most likely on your T-zone) and watch the impurities get pulled out when it dries. Maybe a tad bit gross, but definitely satisfying.

After all the cleansing is done, it’s time to moisturize! Laura Mercier’s Almond Coconut Milk Soufflé Body Crème is great, as it does the job without leaving you greasy. Plus, you end up smelling like a walking coconut, which I think is a good thing. For your face, apply Tarte’s Pure Maracuja Oil sparingly at night, and wake up with softer, glowing skin.

Enjoy the luxuries of a spa in the comfort of your own home. It might take a little more work, but the outcome is well worth it!
