Unless you’re lucky enough to be in New York during Fashion Week, you probably spent your time watching the live feed on your computer at home wishing you could be there to see the shows yourself. From the remarkable collections by the designers to the amazing street style looks worn by native New Yorkers and tourists alike, it’s impossible to keep track of everything going on during Fashion Week. Thanks to Instagram, however, we are able to relive each and every show through the eyes of the celebrities, models and photographers who were there, giving us unique perspectives on fashion’s biggest week.
Miley Cyrus (@mileycyrus)
Miley Cyrus collaborated with designer Jeremy Scott in an unusual way during this year’s New York Fashion Week. During his Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week show, she debuted her first-ever art collection. In addition to creating jewelry and other accessories for the models to wear while they rocked the runway, Miley also showcased various sculptures made out of seemingly random materials given to her by fans. All in all, her crazy and colorful creations made for some highly memorable – as well as Instagrammable – material.
Kendall Jenner (@kendalljenner)
Kendall Jenner let us experience the best of both worlds through her New York Fashion Week Instagrams as she took us seamlessly from behind-the-scenes shots of her fashion show wardrobe to her lavish post-show adventures. Kendall looked amazing on and off the runway this week, and by the looks of her Instagram feed her modeling career is just getting started.
Candice Swanepoel (@angelcandices)
Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel gave us a look at her New York Fashion Week styles both on and off the runway through her Instagram this week. Not only did she give us some great behind-the-scenes views and close-ups from her runway look for the Michael Kors show, but she also shared with us some of her chic street style, which she donned while attending other NYFW shows and functions.
Nigel Barker (@nigelbarker)
What better way to catch the highlights of the New York Fashion Week runway looks than via one of the head photographers themselves?! Nigel Barker shared some of his best images throughout the week, posting collages of shows ranging from Maria Fisherman to The Blonds. His ingenious sets gave us a front-row seat at some of our favorite shows, and we didn’t even have to pay for it.
Karlie Kloss (@karliekloss)
Model and Victoria’s Secret Angel Karlie Kloss had a potentially life-changing New York Fashion Week this year. Not only did she model for shows (duh), but she also had her acting debut during the week’s opening ceremonies. Outside of her business affairs, Karlie also shared some frame-worthy shots of herself posing it out with friends, co-workers and even the legendary Oscar De La Renta – moments she’s sure to remember more than any shoot she’s ever done.
