The Thrilling Adventure Hour will be taking New York City by storm in a flurry of exciting events in the Big Apple this October.

Of course, just like every other faction of the geek culture, the multi-platform show/graphic novel/series will be hitting up New York Comic-con this week. Following the wildly popular crossover with Welcome to Nightvale at San Diego Comic-con (a show that, by the way, was released on Oct. 1 and is now the #14 most downloaded album in the U.S.), the Thrilling Adventure Hour crew is back for another fun-filled convention. On Sunday, Oct. 12, the WorkJuice Players, including Paget Brewster, Paul F. Tompkins, Marc Evan Jackson, Autumn Reeser, Craig Cackowski, Hal Lublin and Mark Gagliardi, along with co-creators Ben Acker and Ben Blacker and composer Andy Paley, will be on hand for a full-cast panel.

And psst… the crew will also be signing autographs at their own booth (#888) and at the Image Comics booth (#1544). Why at Image Comics you ask? Well, because they’ll be celebrating the announcement of the brand new comic series inspired by Thrilling Adventure Hour, titled The Thrilling Adventure Hour Presents..SPARKS NEVADA: MARSHAL ON MARS and The Thrilling Adventure Hour Presents…BEYOND BELIEF! You read that right, your TAH favorites will soon be available in comic form. Head on over to the Image Comics booth on Oct. 10 between 12:30 and 1:30 to get in on the fun. Just between us, of course.

If you missed your chance to nab tickets to Comic-con, though, no worries. Thrilling Adventure Hour will also be attending the first ever New York Super Week for off-site ticketed events open for all to join. From the WorkJuice Improv Show & Panel on Oct. 10, to the already sold-out the Dead Authors Podcast: Live show with Paul F. Tompkins & Ted Leo on Oct. 8 and live shows on Oct. 11 at The Bell House in Brooklyn, Thrilling Adventure Hour fans should be fully entertained this week, with or without laying eyes on those Comic-con cosplays.

And finally, what’s a geek-filled week without The Nerdist? On Oct. 8 and 9, Ben Blacker will be hosting two Nerdist panels about comics, and one about writing. Given that he’s obviously a bit skilled in those departments, it may be worth checking out.

Is your mind spinning from all of this thrilling news? Good. Now hop in your plane, train or automobile and book it to the big city.
