For many of us, this winter was a rough one. Thanks to Instagram, we can at least start to welcome spring by living vicariously through the lives of our favorite celebrities (or let them entertain us, if nothing else). Check out these accounts if you’re still waiting for your town to thaw.

Chelsea Handler (@chelseahandler)

Over the past few months, Chelsea Handler has taken the Instagram world by storm. In November, Handler posted a photo of herself topless on a horse, comparing it to Vladimir Putin’s shirtless horseback photo. Her caption said, “Anything a man can do, a woman has the right to do better,” taking a stand for feminism (although the photo was promptly removed by Instagram). She then posted a similar photo on a camel. Apparently Instagram found the pasties to be more social media-appropriate, allowing her to keep this one up. After the craze surrounding Kim Kardashian’s Paper Magazine cover, handler also re-created the butt-exposing image, posting the two side-by-side and asking viewers to “guess which one’s real.”

Gigi Hadid (@gigihadid)

If you haven’t heard of Gigi Hadid yet, it’s about time you did. Hadid is slowly becoming the biggest new face on the modeling front. She’s recently been featured in Sports Illustrated and Teen Vogue, is the model for the Guess 2015 Spring/Summer campaign, and was in endless shows during fashion week, all of which she was sure to share with her fans on Instagram. Hadid is also known to post pictures with her famous boyfriend, Cody Simpson, and famous friends like Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne.

Rihanna (@badgalriri)

After a six-month hiatus, Riri got her Instagram back! This November, Rihanna surprised her fans by returning to the app with a blurry, upside-down selfie and hasn’t stopped since. She shares tons of photos with her adorable niece, along with sporadic, mildly weird stick-figure drawings every couple weeks. Plus, she’s known to post plenty of high-end fashion shots, and as of recent, promo for her new movie, Home.

Sam Smith (@samsmithworld)

During award season, Sam Smith pretty much became the king of Instagram. He couldn’t contain his excitement during the Grammys, where he walked away with a total of four awards. Smith posted pictures throughout the event, and then was sure to show appreciation for his fans in subsequent posts. He has also been on a health kick over the past couple of months, often sharing his healthy meals and the aftermath of sweaty workout sessions.

Kylie Jenner (@kyliejenner)

If there’s one Instagram account that has been analyzed the most over this past winter, it has to be Kylie Jenner’s. One word: lips. Are they real? Is it makeup? Or is the 17-year-old already turning to injections? One can only speculate, but the dramatic increase in the size of her pout cannot be ignored. There has been a craze around these Instagram photos, with girls all over the Internet trying to re-create the lipstick combinations that Kylie is rocking. Aside from the makeup, Jenner’s larger-than-life hair has been filling up phone screens now that her new line of extensions is out for Bellami.

I was born and raised in New Jersey, but after attending the University of Vermont, Burlington, VT, has become my home away from home. I’ll take Netflix and my couch over a night out every time, and I’m very happy to spend my (increasingly rarer) spare moments reading and writing.
