In Sean Mewshaw and Desi Van Til’s comedic love story Tumbledown, Jason Sudeikis stars as brash New York reporter Andrew, who travels to a small Maine town to look into the mysterious death of a folksinger named Hunter for a biography he’s writing. After meeting Hunter’s widow, Hannah (Rebecca Hall), who has dreams of penning her own biography about her late husband, they agree to collaborate on the book. As they work together, they make discoveries not only about Hunter’s life, but what it means to be alive themselves.
The Daily Quirk caught up with Sudeikis on the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Tumbledown, where he shared what drew him to the project, the film’s themes of love and loss, and what he hopes audiences take away from the film! Check out the feature below!
