So excited to do this video yet… So not prepared on how long it would be. Should have figured. There are SO many new Fall TV shows so I give my opinion on which one is”YAS you should watch” or “NAW ditch this show ASAP.” Are there any shows I SHOULD be watching that I haven’t mentioned? Let me know down below!
If you could live forever, would you? The age-old question is brought to life in Matthew Miller’s new ABC show Forever. In the drama, Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd) is New York City’s star medical examiner not just because he’s interested in studying the dead to solve criminal cases, but also because he’s trying to figure out his own immortality after having lived for more than 200 years. Was anyone else as surprised as I was by the announcement of a My Fair Lady-inspired TV show? It seemed ludicrous, not least because of its title – Selfie. But even more surprising, when I watched the trailer for the show, it seemed funny, like something I might actually enjoy watching. Continue reading

My favorite time of the year isn’t Christmas or summertime, but the end of August until mid September. That time frame may seem boring and irrelevant to most but to me that’s Emmy/ Pilot season, and I couldn’t pick a better time of the year. With that being said, there are a lot of highly anticipated new fall shows this season. Some are already gaining a lot of buzz and are at the top of my must watch list. Below are a couple of the shows I am most excited for. Continue reading
The story of Amy Pond may have ended on Doctor Who, but it seems as though portrayer Karen Gillan’s career is just getting started.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, she has signed on to star in the pilot of ABC’s new single-camera sitcom, Selfie. The show, from the mind of Suburgatory creator Emily Kapnek, puts a modern twist on My Fair Lady. The story will follow the life of Eliza Dooley (Gillan), a young woman who is more concerned with her online persona than her real life (and let’s face it, we all know an “Eliza Dooley”). When she gains notoriety from a break-up turned viral video, she recruits a marketing expert to help resuscitate her image. Continue reading
Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici have charmed America since Sean got down on one knee in the season finale of The Bachelor last March. Now, not even a year later, the happy couple are just days away from tying the knot. The live wedding will air on ABC Jan. 26, 2014, and there are many things I’m looking forward to seeing at the nuptials.
American Idol alum, and Grammy award winning solo artist, Kelly Clarkson is set to make an appearance on ABC’s Nashville when it returns in January. Clarkson will be appearing as herself on the show where she will be covering Mazzy Star’s 1994 hit “Fade into You.” This is not the first time Clarkson has run into this song; she performed it last year at a live show in Charlotte, N.C. at the request of an audience member. Nashville characters Gunnar and Scarlett have performed this song as well. “As you recall, one of the most popular songs of last season is a song that Gunnar and Scarlett wrote – ‘Fade Into You’,” show runner Dee Johnson told TVLine. “And in fact, in real life, [Clarkson is] actually cutting that song.”
Clarkson professed her own admiration for the song:
“This song happens to be a song . . . I know you all have these, your repeat songs that you just listen to hypnotically on repeat over and over,” she says at the performance, which is available on YouTube. “This is that song for me and I was very excited when I saw it on the fan request list.”
The pregnant Grammy winner joins a long list of country stars to have made an appearance on the show, joining heavy-hitters such as Brad Paisley, Vince Gill, Pam Tillis, Chris Young and Kip Moore.
This will not be Kelly’s first TV stint having already made an appearance on CBS’s The Crazy Ones.
Keep an eye, and an ear, out for Clarkson’s appearance when Nashville returns in January 2014!
