Arrested Development fans, rejoice, because director Mitchell Hurwitz has announced there will be a Season Five on Netflix. Back in May, the online video streaming site released all 14 episodes of Season Four as a Netflix exclusive. On May 26th, Arrested Development officially returned to the small screen after a 7-year-long hiatus! The original Bluth family has reunited for a 15-episode season, all of which is accessible on Netflix. This season, unlike the prior three, which dealt with Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman) trying to keep his family together, separates the Bluths. Each family member has their own episode dealing with their individual ‘arrested developments’ and attempts to break away from the rest of the family. The episodes, which take place in the same time frame, feature one particular character per episode and how they are dealing with a film about the Bluth family scandal. Continue reading
