There are many reasons why Parks and Recreation has affected my life. I can no longer stand shows with laugh tracks… I make faces at a nonexistent camera when someone around me does something questionable… I’ve taken up asking people for all the bacon and eggs they have… but all of that is beside the point. Parks and Recreation has ruined my life and here are the five reasons why:

Everything is awesome—because production of The Lego Movie 2 is already under way. The release of The Lego Movie received such instant international acclaim that Warner Bros. has confirmed the date for release of a sequel for May 26, 2017.
My first impression of The Lego Movie was that of a fun, light-hearted kids film with a big G for general audience rating—while also doubling up as a marketing ploy, all rights reserved Lego®. But don’t be fooled by the movie ads featuring Lego Batman and Uni Kitty. The Lego Movie also targets older audiences, with blunt, wise-crack humor and a feeling of nostalgia while watching a classic childhood toy come to life on screen, with surprisingly impressive graphics and 3-D animation. Even though the movie doesn’t hit theaters until August, the first trailer for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy recently premiered on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The movie comes toward the end of Phase 2 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which kicked off with Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World. April’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be the next film in Phase 2 while Avengers: Age of Ultron ends the phase next year.
Guardians of the Galaxy is a seemingly odd choice in the phase since it’s the only movie not focused on characters from The Avengers, but any hesitation you might’ve been feeling should now be eased by the trailer, which looks pretty freaking awesome.
