Chad Connell is one handsome fellow. Add in his talent as an actor and his infectious laugh and it’s pretty hard not to take a shine to him. The Canadian born Connell has been building momentum in the last few years, recurring in television cult favorites like Nikita and Warehouse 13, and scoring parts in summer blockbusters White House Down and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. His name has even been mentioned along with some of Hollywood’s hottest to take on the role of Christian Grey in the film adaption of Fifty Shades of Grey. But talking to Connell you would have no idea his career is on such an upwards trajectory. Humble with a great sense of humor, he comes across as an average guy who’s genuinely excited to be living out his dream. Lest you think he’s a little too good to be true, he does have one flaw he readily admits to, being the guy who likes to say he knew about a band before they made it big. If you can get past that minor imperfection, Connell seems like a really fun guy that would be as enjoyable to be friends with as he is to watch on-screen.

Read on for the full interview with Chad Connell where we discuss everything from his role as the Blue-Haired Demon in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, to Fifty Shades of Grey and how he spends his time off-screen (get ready to swoon ladies, it includes sailing and wining and dining!)… Continue reading
