If you’d told me last year that one of my favorite new shows of the season would be a modernized version of Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, I probably would have laughed in your face. I started watching the show mostly for laughs and didn’t expect to get much out of it, but I couldn’t have been more wrong.
The first season of Fox’s Sleepy Hollow was a wild romp through history with memorable characters and a fabulous combination of genres, including comedy, horror and at times police procedural. While the show was renewed early on in its run, the second season won’t premiere until fall 2014. Which means a long wait for the fans.
It’s never too early to speculate though, so I’m going to take you through what I hope happens in the Sleepy Hollow Season 2. But watch out for spoilers! If you haven’t seen the season finale, go watch that first then come back and read. Continue reading
