With the second half of the final season of Mad Men already in full swing, it’s about time we reflect back on our most-loved and most-hated characters of the show. There’s no doubt that much has changed since Season 1. Our beloved Bert Cooper has tragically passed away, along with partner Lane Price who offed himself in his Sterling Cooper & Partners office of all places. The Day of the Dead may sound a bit morbid, but director Jorge Gutierrez has pulled a Tim Burton and turned the subject into a beautiful and celebratory film, The Book of Life, which honors the Mexican holiday. In a press conference presented by 20th Century Fox at San Diego Comic-Con, Gutierrez, along with producer Guillermo del Toro and voice actors Christina Applegate, Channing Tatum and Ron Perlman, spoke about the creation of the film and The Daily Quirk was on hand to deliver the scoop!
