Another week, another amazing pumpkin DIY! When I saw these gorgeous pumpkins on Funkytime, I just had to ask if we could share them here with you. I am all about creative pumpkin decoration ideas and these are some of the prettiest non-carved pumpkins I have come across so far! I adore the ombre pumpkin and think it would make a beautiful thanksgiving centerpiece. I also think the triangle design pumpkin is the kind of whimsical detail that is great for a children’s Halloween Party with more flair and less scare.
I am a big fan of arranging my own flowers and have found it to be a great way to have fresh arrangements at parties and events when it otherwise wouldn’t fit in the budget. There are plenty of great tutorials on the web that can teach you the methods florists use with foam and floral wire, but a quick and easy alternative for simple arrangements is this great tape method by Almost Makes Perfect. It’s easy enough that even the least crafty among us can pull it off and a great way to add structure and form to a flower arrangement. Visit Almost Makes Perfect and check out this great tutorial!
Elizabeth over at To Be Charmed decided to get creative with Japanese Washi Tape and Vases and the results are so awesome we just had to share! For glass and plastic vases, just cut the Washi Tape to the proper size and apply! To get the fancy lace look, Elizabeth placed the tape on parchment paper and used a hole punch.
